Hi,

I'm guessing your school does not participate in EMSWP so you sent form 183, right? If that's the case, ECFMG would have sent a verification document to your med school, and your dean (or designated official) is supposed to fill it up and send it back to them. From what I can understand, your med school did not send the document to ECFMG. Go to the official who is responsible for this in your med school, and badger them till they do it. You won't get your scores until they send it

It is a paper form. I'm pretty sure the same person fills both forms, but you should still ask the student department at your med school

Can u tell me this document was sent after my exam or before?

And another question: during my registration for step 1 I marked that i want that my medschool will know about my results - is this the reason they want verification document?

It happened to a friend of my as well. All ecfmg needs is for ur school to send that document. I think by post to them not online. Until then forget about ur results u won't get it. It's not whether ur school need to see ur results. It's about the document from ur school to them. Just rush to ur school to alert them and u would get ur results afterwards. It's a security check to see u r really a med student or doctor.
