Default Taking step 1 during rotations?

Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to pull off a decent score (250) in step 1 while doing rotations in 3rd year. I am an img and scored 201 this morning on NBME 4 and 2 months away from the real deal. Thing is I only just started uworld today and it's taking me ages, so it feels a bit rushed. However I can push it 2 months into rotations. Just worried about info haemorrhaging out in that period. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

how come you can do your rotations without step 1, and if so it might be very very difficult. what NBME did you do.

I am not in the caribbean programme, but in a medical school in the UK so you can take the step 1 at any time. I took the nbme 4 offline so I might aswell take my time on this exam. I know if i screw up step 1 then there is no point taking anything further.

Are you in the 4 yr MBBS degree or 6 yr degree?

Have you considered giving it at the end of yr 3 holiday?

Neither, 5 year programme. I have already registered so I have 3 months of full time studying and around 1 month into rotations. I would rather complete it before 4th year so I could gain USCE. Just got to keep pushing!

thanks for getting back.

Gave NBME 5,6 and 7 ... Scores were little less than what I targeted, but had a really good actual exam. So hoping for 15-20 points improvement.
