Wink My Study plan for the step

Hi there,

Fifth year IMG student from Saudi Arabia

I have been preparing for the step during my rotations at school but not that much of a hard work, I have listened to Goljan audios, and read some pages from FA .
But now that I have registered an exam appointment, all that I do now is studying, my exam date August 14 and my study plan goes like this :

I have intended to do it subject by subject, giving each subject the time that is needed from high yield to low yield and considering my weakness with that and doing about 20 questions daily in relation to the subject that I do at that time

so

Anatomy for 10 days

Micro and Immuno for 14 days ( I'm good with IDs and antibiotics, but I need some time with characteristics of bugs and their families)

Behavioral s. for 7 days ( I hate Biostat and calculation questions)

Biochem for 10 days ( not that good with rate limiting enzymes and genetics)

Path for 21 days ( I have listened to all of Goljan audios before so I think I'm good at path)

Phys for 7 days ( and have taken a lot of time doing it before)

Pharm and neuro
(kind of done it, all I need is to do questions on them and little bit of review )

For each subject I watch Kaplan videos annotating with FA and reviewing some other references that I have, like BRS for Phys and behavioral science.

Goljan for Path, HY for embryology, Neuro, Immuno, cellular and molecular
and last The Big picture for Micro.

(for that I'm overwhelmed with references )

after that I intended to do pure questions for 2 weeks from UWorld and maybe I'll do NBME.

I'm working really hard to stick with that plan, but sometimes I can't keep up and miss some subjects due to that commitment.

I appreciate any advise or comment .

And is it better to do NBME early or it doesn't matter ?

Which is more beneficial to do Kaplan videos or should I stick to my references only ?

Don't rush yourself and get a bad score
( but also not very long time ,check this : Time needed for International Medical Graduates to prepare for USMLE Step 1 )
