As I read somewhere, there is an increase in Th2 subset, with increase in IgE production (due to IL-4) ,and also increased histamin production, which results in eczema.
And why is there an increase in Th2, I really don't know
IFN gamma is inhibitory on TH2 cells.
no ifn gamma......no inhibition of TH2 cells....hence Inc in IgE.(as TH2 cells make IgE)
