USMLE Books Kaplan or High Yield For Neuro

Hi everyone

I am about to start going over Neuro Science and I wanted to know from all of you which is the way to go? Considering I didnt learn Neuro that well in Med school and just coasted my way through (little more than a year ago), is Kaplan or HY better? Which one would teach it to a complete dummy or someone who is completely weak with the subject? Is HY more for students who have a good grasp of Neuro or can it teach from scratch, A to Z?

Lets everyones thoughts. Thanks in advance.

High yield neuroanatomy

i think is the most organised book for neuroanatomy i have come acrossed ... i have read both kaplan notes and high yield and i assure you there is a very big difference in the quality of the content and organisation of it .... it covers everything in in significant detail and it is better than KLN for the newbies to grab the subject .... there are numerous great pictures to understand from .

so what should you do ...?

i think kaplan videos are great for neuro ...so watch them but read text from high yield .

It took me a week to get through high yield when things were quite fuzzy about neuroanat .... now considering you have gone through KLN i feel that you can easily run through the book in 3-4 days .... as it is a 160-170 page book
