collagen has internal hydrophobic sequence because it will be secreted ...
what is the meaning of this ? anyone ?

There r 3 types of protiens
1) those secreted out of cell
2) those inserted in cell membrane
3) those go into lysosomes

during post translational modification these three must go into ER and the Golgi for modification and the SIGNAL for that is a N-Terminal Hydrophobic Signal sequence at the starting of the protein

collagen comes under secretory protein
