I understand but ur boat would not sink.
78% uworld left is big time concepts for u.
Don't shiver move on well and ur sure to rock it. Take name again when about 75% done with uworld

There is no need to be anxious at this stage. You have 7 weeks which is more than enough i have seen people making huge improvements in less time but there are a few things u must do to improve. I will tell you about the three most important things i believe will help anyone boost their scores:

- Uworld is undoubtedly the most important learning tool. Do it well and by that, i do not mean just learning the content, but there is a lot more to gain from uworld. See how the topics are tested, how the questions are being made, how to attempt questions in a better way and most importantly, identify your mistakes. We all have different ways to approach a question and we all have different weaknesses! I for example had a knack for difficult questions, i could get them right as i was good at making educated guesses but i would mess up much simpler questions because of over thinking! I would complicate simple questions with obvious answers in attempt to get everything right! I realized my mistake half way through the uworld and my scores improved. I was also particularly bad at the Ethics and the BS part, but i was constantly on the hunt to identify my weaknesses and rectify them. I had just 50-60% correct BS questions on my uworld but i ended up with a higher performance and a star in BS. Identify and learn from your mistakes! There are many people who have a better preparation but get lower scores than others with much less prep, the reason being they are not good exam takers. I believe everyone can be a good exam taker if we realize our weaknesses.

-Know FA cold! Understand the concepts and learn the facts!

-Never underestimate yourself and never doubt your self! I know this is a huge exam and even the best students lose their self belief at some point during the prep but as long as you keep your cool and tell your self that if everyone is doing it, so can I, then u will! There is no substitute for self confidence and trust me it can do wonders! My friend had low uw scores and 230s in uwsa just 2 wks before the exam but he never gave up believing in himself. He stopped panicking a few days before the exam and just went into the exam not worrying about the scores but trying to give his best shot. He ended up with a 256!

D.ahmed I think I have the same problem as you did ...I. Can answer the difficult questions but I have been making simple mistakes by overthinking the question..could you please tell how could you solve this problem?

Thanks

Interpret UWSA wisely though, i'd say expect your score to be UWSA - 20=232, which is still very remarkable since you were on 204 less than a month ago.

Really happy to hear this! I believe the major factor in improving your performance was tackling the anxiety better. Now you can tell others to do the same!

" i hope i get a 240" to "do i have a chance to break 250"- This is the way to go! yes you definitely can! you have to believe that you can first and then tell yourself you will get it! Keep doing Fa and nbmes and carry on the confidence u have gained into the exam! I hope i am not too late and you are not done with the paper already

Had u seen some nbme 15 questions before?
The difference is huge. If not then take nbme 11 carefully applying all your knowledge and that also would predict ur score very well.

Relax. It has been said multiple times on other forums that UWSA 1 and 2 both over predict scores from 15-20 points. So that UWSA is more like a 232-237, just like your NBME score.

U look like u have done some of the current nbmes. But I think nbme 7 is still very predictive. so take it and get some confidence back!

You are in good shape dont worry about these fluctuating scores the majority of people who do multiple nbmes in a short span of time do experience the fluctuations. I know of a frnd who gave the 6 recent nbmes in 3 days straight two at a time and he got scores ranging from 250 to 270. He ended up with a 260. Your average for recent nbmes is around 240 which is pretty good so just relax and be confident. If I were you, I would give the remaining nbmes with their extended feedback and then check for their performance profiles. If you are consistently getting lower or borderline performance in a particular area, then you need to address those parts and improve them only and also do their uw questions, but if you have fluctuating performances with higher performance in one nbme for a particular subject and lower in another nbme on the same subject and again a different performance in other nbmes, then it indicates inconsistent test taking skills and not deficiencies in your preparation. For that, you just need to take things a little more lightly! I keep on saying this on this forum because I have seen people suffer because of worrying too much and I was one of them. These nbme scores and uwsa scores are predictive there is no doubt abt that but they are not your definitive scores! You will find thousands of examples of people having great scores on these practice tests who ended up well short of the predictions and others who surpassed their predictions. Just do the remaining nbmes not thinking about them as your score predictions but your practice tests. Their concepts will help you, the performance profiles will help you identify your weak areas, the question solving will help you and you will feel like you are doing an nbme during the exam but worrying about their scores will harm you. Approach you exam with confidence, you have worked really hard and there is nothing more left for you to do. Do your self a huge favor, do not keep too many things to do in the end, take the last day off dont study anything just relax and party that day, have a good sleep that night and the next morning, walk into the exam center with a smile! you will do great best of luck!

Hey.
I kept scoring 205-210 in three of my nbmes. I cried n cried as to what im doing wrong. Anyways , then i revised FA and uworld notes. After doing that for like 1.5 months , i took uwsa1 and scored 236. I guess i improved. Even if uworld overpresicts by 10-15 points

Already mentioned, but of paramount importance:

Don't study at all the day before the exam.
Go to the movies, cook something special, go for a walk, hang out with friends and / or family, imagine you travel 3 weeks into the future and celebrate as if you just got your dream score.
You need to let your cells replenish glycogen, your neurons replenish neurotransmitters.
It's like a martial arts movie. Trained till you drop already, now the day of the fight just let it all flow by itself.

OK, that morning before going to the exam I just took a quick peek to the brachial plexus drawing, but that was it!
