Eye Associations of Absent Corneal Reflex!

If someone's corneal reflex is messed up, what other ability could be messed up? Tearing? Hearing? I'm confused.

Thanks!

Corneal reflex has the efferent and the afferent pathway. CN V 1 for the afferent, and CN7 for the efferent via the orbicularis oculi muscle.
You are probably confusing lesions of the CN7 with the corneal reflex. Lesions of the CN 7 may affect hearing (hyperacusis) or tearing, depending on the location of the lesion. This might also affect closing of the eye ( via orbicularis oculi). However, it doesn't affect the corneal reflex in totality because the afferent pathway has nothing to do with cn7.
Hope this has helped
