Hey,

Yes, plantar flexion not possible only. I had experience... complete ATR 2 years ago . I was able to stand (painful), not able to walk, could wiggle my fingers, the ankle and the dorsum of foot is extremelly swollen within 30 mins, there is a gap at the site of the rupture (visible or at least palpable). It`s so painful as the books describe, a `snap` is also noted.

Hi guys,

i think the question actually was:
what muscle can help plantar flex the foot even if the achilles tendon is torn.

Thanks
