Drug Digoxin Toxicity

hey guys studying for my step one and just have a few questions about the Digoxin toxicity. I understand how normalizing k+ levels would help with an antidote and the anti dig fragments but I don't understand how magnesium and lidocaine help alleviate this toxicity ......any help would be appreciated thanks

magneisum competes with Digoxin on Na+k+ pump

lidocaine blocks Na+ channels in phase 0 of ventricular and purkinjie fibers , it is anti-arrhythmic especially in ventricular tachycardia
