Help Feeling terrible, need advice!!

I am a roller coaster of emotions right now. Working hard, feeling confident, yet consistently disappointed. First off I have to say that I have been struggling with the material for a while and doesn't seem to be getting any easier for me. I have been studying for over 6 months and have yet been able to be happy with my progress. I have done NBME's 13 and 15 within the past month and I am still not seeing any sort of improvement, in fact it was even lower.

My exam is scheduled for July 3rd. I feel good with the material and feel confident when I take the exams; however, I am not improving at all. I score 480/217 on NBME 12 and 440/207 on NBME 15. I attached the performance profile.

I don't know what else to do!!! I have done DIT, Goljian, read and reread FA, UWorld (on my 2nd time) and other practice NBME's.

Someone, please help! Of course my goal is a 240, but I'm a realist and would be very happy with a 220+ what can I do to improve? Any advice? :sorry:

I really can't postpone the exam any longer then I have. I have done a bunch of the kaplan videos, Behavioral, Biochem, Physio, the ones where I felt like I needed the help. I don't know what you mean by my basic sci training ...

After going over the exams I notice a pattern with like 10 questions I have narrowed it down to 2 answers and picked the wrong one. If I can correct that and my test taking ability I feel like my score will greatly improve.
Any idea for a quick test taking fix?

What i mean is that some medical schools dont focus a lot on basic sciences .... And since its easy to pass even students dont conc. on basic sciences... Also its going to be your one shot to do well so you should be 100% prepared... I would recommend you dont look for a quick fix.. You still have a lil time so just review key concepts and areas where you get confused between 2 choices look up the answers and review concepts related to those... Im nn expert but i hope this helps you and you do really well..... Fingers crossed

There are some areas from your nbme assessment you should focus on.... Cardiovascular ... Renal ,immunology and genetics ... Very high yield... Revise these and concentrate less on your high performance area.... Good luck

I appreciate the help ... I will most certainly focus on the weaker areas ... I was planning on doing Cardio and Renal after I took the exam, and it proves I really needs help there. I realize I don't have time to read Goljian Rapid Review, would it be better to do the HY stuff? My plan is to continue to do UWorld questions, take NBME 7 and the free 150 next week. Continue to read either FA or HY, but not sure which would be better in the time frame

I still feel confident, motivated and focused ... I just wish there would be some sign of improvement

I think HY ... FA would not cut it at this point
