First Aid Can't seem to find time to read first aid

For my designated study period I've been using Kaplan, Pathoma, UWorld, Kaplan QBank. I've finished Kaplan and Pathoma. Just looking again at some of the videos on some of the loose end chapters.

However, I find myself not sitting down and being able to read first aid. I've read the first half of the book, and read the neurology, reproductive, and endocrine chapters. I read the heme/onc, GI, renal, and resp chapters - but that was a long time ago, and I've forgotten the content. Any suggestions?

You should spend more time on first aid and try to memorize it. What do you mean by "you cant sit down and study first aid"?

As in, I spend more time doing questions, watching Kaplan & Pathoma videos to reinforce the material. I found an UW torrent with all the questions, downloaded, and printed them out. I finished going through UW once, on my laptop in the high 60s%, and now going through it in paper format.

Made two piles - one of material that I find easy and second which has my incorrects, corrects that were guesses, and corrects but informative material that could help me on the exam.

By time I'm done with this in a day, last thing I want to do is sit down and read first aid.

What you should have done is ....
  • doing questions in UW/kaplan
  • reading the explanation in the UW for every question
  • reading the corresponding Sub in FA ...annotating any new point
  • keep a list of pages you have read so that it makes sure that you have not read a topic in FA multiple times

First Aid is very important. Any sentence can be a question.
