Biochemistry cooperative kinetics vs hyperbolic kinetics

Most enzymatic reactions follow a hyperbolic
curve (follow Michaelis-Menten kinetics);
however, enzymatic reactions that follow
cooperative kinetics (i.e., hemoglobin) have a
sigmoid curve.

In very simple term it means that the affinity of enzyme for substrate changes due to certain conditions.... Eg. Affinity of hb for o2 changes as one molecule of O2 attaches to hb . This is not true for other enzymes
