Unhappy This appointment is past the cutoff date for modification

Trying to cancel my exam, since it's at 8:00am tomorrow. I was able to get approved for an extension from my school. However, while trying to cancel my exam, it says that "This appointment is past the cutoff date for modification.".

What am I supposed to do?

"Candidates are still required to reschedule/cancel at least 1 business day prior to their appointment. You will need to contact the Regional Prometric Contact Center directly in order to reschedule without the fee in these cases only"

I found this at the bottom of the FAQ page on the prometric website. It refers to candidates taking free exams but the word "still" seems significant.. I really hope someone else can help you out..
