Idea! Recall Techniques

Hello friends,
I was hoping someone would post some good recall and revision habits that have proven to be useful, although I know everyone is different...also how to maximize retention with such vast majority of information.

I am an average student and what works for me is the habit of repetition. my first read of a book I try not to rush it so its easier to review it over and over.keep revising a particular book and not just various books on the same course or subject

I love colors so I got a jotter for each course which I use various colored pen to write with.. d colors allow me retain I believe.. I don't if others have tried this.

doing lot of questions, I tend to recall a concept I missed while doing questions then even after reading..

for mnemonics we all know FA. so keep grinding it and reviewing your notes not trying new materials. this works for me. but I know there other techniques out there and am also waiting to learn
