I will be checking this thread, and will congrats you once you get your scores, my friend who gave Step1 had same feelings and his score was 246. Any way my eligibility period starts in September, wandering through this forum to look for extension. I want to extend my eligibility period but don't know how. I went through IWA but could not find the link to extend, I hav'nt taken date in pro metric, I am not sure if this is the reason or till I have to wait until my eligibility period starts in Sep. you are gone through this stag. I hope you might help.

I never extended mine so Im not familiar with the whole process but I think you have to wait till you actually have an appointment with a prometric center. I'm not completely familiar though so I might be wrong

you can request for an extension of your eligibility period to the next contiguous one only once... and only after the original period has begun..
if you have already booked an appointment with prometric then you will have to cancel that appointment and then request for an extension..

NO, it takes at least 3 wednesdays after you must have taken the step.

i took step 1 on 30th may in lahore.........it was difficult than nbme and u world.........just completed all blocks........one day left for result....no idea wat to expect it can b high and cant say abt mishap.......hope everyone of us find a good more than expected score....

Im an IMG, took my exam on june 21 found the exam to be extremly hard compared to the nbmes. I had a lot of wtf questions in the last 3-4 blocks but, with easy questions in between. Scared n anxious!!

When i finished the test i had the profound feeeling of failing.:indifferent:

Same here. Too many absurd looking questions. 2 blocks were just horrible. It was like the questions were either too easy or too difficult.
I have a bad sinking feeling :scared:

Like i said before , i was getting really good grades in the NBMEs , but the exam itself was on another level. The behavioral questions were particularly hard .

I dunno i hope that they were all experimental questions or something cause i have a really bad feeling about this .
