Computer CIN Number to Start New Block

hello guys
3 days ago I took my usmle step1 exam
i started the exam by entering my candidate identification number (CIN) which is found on the scheduling permit , finished the first block then I chose "take a break" which was on the screen, went to the break, then back to exam and I entered CIN again at the beginning of 2nd block, finished 2nd block then I chose "take a break" which was on the screen, went to the break, then back to exam and I entered CIN again at the beginning of 3rd block, and I remained on this situation until the 6th block, when I reached the 6th block I was still having 2 minutes on my total break time so I had to do the 6th and 7th block back to back. I finished the 6th block and then I chose "start next block" because I dont time to take a break, and the 7th block started immediately without asking me to enter the CIN as in the previous blocks,, so am concerned about this point,, could you please help me...??

Because you did not leave the computer.
The CIN entry is a an extra measure to make sure that the person coming back from the break is the same person who started the exam.
Since, you did not leave the computer and immediately started the next block there is no need for this security measure.
It's just like websites when they ask you do log in after a certain amount of inactivity time.
