Raise your morale, concentrate on FA and UWSA ( weak points)

Common, you can do it? You have done almost all basics... Just focus on you weakest areas and try to give it a read once or two from FA, if you had marked wrong answers in UWSA, re-read it...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your nbmes are telling you something.....I hope you consider pushing your date back because in all likelihood you will score around the same on the real test......you need AT LEAST a good month to bring your nbme scores up 20 points....just being real with you. You can extend your eligibility... Just call ECFMG and ask them how. Also if you are taking an exam because your eligibility is ending IMO thats the wrong way to do it. Take the exam IF your confident.... Remember you get 1 shot at this ... If you dont do well you will have to keep the scores for 7 years ... Decide wisely

Like others have said you can extend your eligibility!

I myself know your situation all too well because the same thing happened for me for step one....I actually had to pay exam fees twice because I didnt take my exam within the three month block plus extense eligibility period....but I'm glad I did because I know for a fact I would have gotten a low score or not even pass if I took it

I know it hurts to waste money but like others have said you only get one shot at this!!! It's better to only take it when u are fully ready ....I agree that sometimes miracles happen (scoring higher on the actual test then nbmes) but in all likelihood you will score around your nbmes

Thank you all for taking out some time and giving me an advice.I am working on my weaker areas presently because out of the 60 to 65 mistakes which i do always more than half are wrong just because i get confused.i agree with you all miracles happen but not always as you said. Will try to cover as much as possible even then if there is no improvement then i'll push back the date. Will i need to pay the whole fee again or just $50 for extension?

Hey shriti i think anxiety is affecting your performance! People dont realize it but anxiety can significantly hamper your performance. try to relax and think on your feet while attempting questions. I posted in a couple of other similar threads see if you can check them out it might help you! best of luck!
