Help how to concentrate

Hi I am IMG from Delhi,India...I have been preparing for step 1 for the past few weeks....i find it difficult to concentrate at a stretch...i mean some days i study for 8 to 9 hrs a day..someday i study only for 2 to 3 hrs....then i am not able to concentrate for one day....then i study sincerely for few days...does it feel the same way for everyone during the initial stages of your preparation..sometimes i feel will i ever make it.....and i get we do stay focussed ....can the seniors in the forum help me out...

Ya man ... Its not easy to study for a strech. What i do is study for 2 hours then take 15 mins then another 2 hours then take a longer break... Have lunch or something... So i find taking breaks in between help a lot... Also try to do 2 subjects in a day so it doesnt become monotonous

You should also consider changing your location, like studying in a different room, perhaps study in the kitchen while munching on a snack, maybe go to a friend's house or to a park nearby, anything that helps break routine and stave off boredom.
