First Aid First Aid is Haphazard!

Would appreciate inputs on how to get max benefit from FA?, I found it bit haphazard...

any sound strategy to get it in your long term memory?

i guess everyone is different, for me, i can't memorize. i have to link things together, and understand, make stories in my head, to get things to make sense.

perhaps look at the topics, and gloss over, and see if you can sort of browse through it, and acknowledge that not only everything makes sense, but that you can fill in the blanks between the words.

FA is basically a list of so called HY facts and only useful if you know the topic(s).
In order to understand the mechanisms etc behind these facts you need to combine it with something else like a QBank like USMLERx or UW or in my opinion with FA Basic sciences Book and first aid organ systems book to develop an understanding of FA.

Look ... if you feel that when you read from FA 2013 book with difficulty in understanding and memorizing ,then read the FA organ systems book + FA general principles first... then go again to read from FA 2013
