Psyche Time duration of psychiatric disorders

2 years - Cyclothymic disorder (milder form of bipolar), Dysthymia (milder form of depression)
6 months - Schizophrenia , Generalised Anxiety disorder
1-6 months - Schizophreniform disorder
< 1 month - Brief Psychotic disorder (usually stress related)
> 1 month - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Delusional disorder
2 weeks - Major Depressive episode
1 week - Manic episode
