Help Failed Step 1, IMG, what are my chances now?

Hello! I would REALLY appreciate some true feedback from those who can offer it. I'm a Caribbean med student who recently took the Step 1 and failed it. Now I'm a little lost as to what to do. I got a 178 on the exam. I'm contemplating taking the exam a 2nd time but I want to know the stats of it before I decide to start studying again. What will my residency placement look like? How well do I need to score my 2nd time around in order for me to be considered? Is it even worth it or should I look to find another profession like PA or nursing? Please help!!! Any feedback would be appreciated!
