Iam an img...
i want to start usmle preperation asap...n giv it around october 2014...
But iam really weak with basics...
help me start preperation....how to start?? what books to start?? which subject first??so i can understand basics and score high....
kindly suggest.. i bought FA....
iam really scared

Dude u hav to go through blogs on this site and experience of other test takers...they tell you materials and qbanks etc etc... So help yourself dont wait for people to reply

Check other people "Step 1 Experience"
They usually describe their preparation

Don't panic - this is not gonna do good for you.

Most commonly - you read big books like Kaplan Lecture notes, substitute pathology with either Goljan's Pathology or Pathoma from Sattar and incorporate all topics into FA

And do 1-2 qbanks - Kaplan Qbank or Usmle World

Than you give NBME - whic is a most accurate predictor as of now and give the Step 1.
