July 14th here and I cannot see the link to print the test permit so also this week.

Since I saw this question last week many times: the link disappearing is not the blue hyper link giving an error message. In the first screen you see after you login there is a column of links on the left side of the page. The very first/top link on the left is a print testing permit link. This disappears a few days or the day before your score is posted.

Best of luck to all.

im so excited forgot i wanted to say. I got EXACT one in one same score as on NBME 15. 231.

NBME 13 217
NBME 15 after 10 days of DIT 231

exam after 16 days.

my second NBME seemed harder for me because i felt like completely forgeting simple stuff from First Aid.
so after that did First Aid thrice. calculation questions even on exam morning. and reviewed UW 500 Qs.

I havent written my exam expierience anywhere so just want to say:
its not hard, i got what i deserved.
even long whole page questions seemed manageable. hated small but terribly 50/50 questions. didn't make me live normaly for 3 weeks while waiting.

To avoid very simple mistakes which i made at least 5 , i said to myself i will mark all the not sure questions. and it came out that
i marked so many questions in first block that when i reviewed them couldnt find the real ones i wanted to review. so didnt do that again.

im sure i have answered some "for me unbelievable" questions. sometimes the answers can lead you to right answers. lot of CT Xrays. review them day by day it doesnt take time its even fun. review normal and pathology ones also for sure.
think simply sometimes they ask you very simple thing and y miss it.
maybe i write my experience some day. im too shocked for now my score is not skyracking but that's what i earned with a hard work, thanks god I love this exam. all are equal and everyone gets deserved.

:sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry:

of course i did NBME s online. i strongly suggest to do it online. that was the only thing that helped me not to hang myself before seeing my score report. strong strong very strong correlation. for me it was one in one same score. good luck

Nice, yeah my NBME 15 is a 220. I'm so worried, I started to read FA after I took that exam. Looking back at 15, I can say I maybe could've gotten 3-4 extra questions from there.

I forgot a lot of pharmacology. Worried about that. Forgot a good portion of pathology as well. Just trying to force myself to go through some pharm stuff, microbiology viruses, some neuro, and will look at some biostats equations - just have trouble concentrating and feel like giving up.

I really want to break a 230. My other scores NBME 11: 230, 12 = 228, and 13 - 226.

i wrote my NBME 13 sleepless irritated i just could not move on i was not satisfied but without that i would not be able to move on..

so do whatever helps you move on..

do how you feel, i knew if i would not do this now i would never be able to do it. of course i wished to score higher but this was what i deserved. and thanks god im happiest ever.

im very comf with biostats and behavioral but i didnt like Qs. i dont think you ll be asked to just simply calculate NPV NPV SEns or spec. pay more attention on Relative risk aTTRIBUTABLE risk and stuff. Number needed to treat etc. just practice and don't give up. or you'll fail all you have done and suffered so long.

it doesnt matter how much tiem YOU HAVE WASTED to crack this exam IT DOES MATTER HOW WELL you organize yrself on exam day. stady hard day before. untill 6 or as convenient for you. just sleep right eat early in the morning eat like real food. avoid EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING this is single most importantee

ive never done UWSA cant tell you about that. as i read from CK expiriences it correlates even better than NBMEs for step2. cant say about step1.

being burned out is normal. just don't give up. stay calm and continue worrying this is completely normal.

and be completely ready to see something that you don't recognize.

hey..me too an img..i did expect to get a score above 230...but anyways im relieved that the exam is finally over!!!
i did all the nbmes offline but i highly recommend doing them online to everyone since it dint help me much calculating my scores ( i used 1.46 formula for the nbme scores)
nbme 7- 226
nbme 11- 242
nbme 12- 239
nbme 13- 224 ( 1 week before exam)
i was really glad about the 2nd nbme but i think it predicted much higher than my actual score which was 228.
Exam is definitely doable..but you will get all sorts of questions from all subjects and it will drain you at the end of the day...but the trick is to have faith in yrself during the whole process. My toughest block was the first one ..well i think it was because i was too nervous for the exam..but as it went on, i was more relaxed in the following blocks. Last block was the easiest one...so i was pretty happy after the exam..lol ( guess they want to make you feel that way) but the wait of 3 weeks for the result is excruciating!!!
My exam was heavily tested on gross anatomy...which i have hated since the first day of med school Anatomy with all sorts of CT/ xrays. I had about 3-4 audios from cardio section for murmurs and none from other systems. so better review the murmur sounds before the exam guys.
Most of the wtf questions were from mol. bio...all sorts of experimental questions were making me crazy in the mid blocks...i think they intentionally keep those to make you feel the pressure of exam.
I feel that this exam can be aced if you put your hard work, patience and perseverance . Any average med student can pass this test, but for a higher score a bit more of study is required.
..all the best wishes to everyone for the usmle journey...

obviously 15. You have good score. If 15 or 11 are near 240 you will score 240+ atleast. Nice to see you doing 2nd pass of uw. Did you use it as a learning tool from the begining? as you said you are reading it... ?

if you still plan to go thru UW which is great and if you still have time and not rushing do 7 first. my friend told me it seemed even harder than 15. just keep 15 for your final days. tht wwas single most accurate predictor of my "nice womanish score "
i was very upset during and between NBMEs i have not read much just did Doctors in training lectures and read subsequent material in first aid. bu i always always felt not satisfied enugh doing first aid. as i sad i have done it for the first time with UW. than could not revise it well took NBME 13. and i could havs scored higher.
you know what happened on 13 i changed at least 7 marked and correctly answered questions to the incorrect ones. so i strongly suggest as first aid sais unless you feel a really good second hunch dont change answers. especilly if you got the question stem right just cannot make choice between answers.
if on the first read you dont get wuestion and vignette well and on second read you feel oh now i got it then its different.

of course your score is great on NBME just if you aim for more thn 240 and have time dont rush. do UW. as thoroughly as you can. i think y must have over 245 to have guranteed over 240 on exam.
I don't mean that you take too much time before exam. do it untill your NBME scores fade from your mind

I didn't rush i just knew i had to do this now. and i agreed with my NBME 15/231 on that score. and i got it.

Yes you are right tamta. When i was doing nbme13, i was literally scared that what if i will get low score and in that nervousness i made 3-4 incorrect which i made correct on a first attempt.Second read of Uworld is helping me a lot so i will try to finish as much as i can.I will give next nbme 2weeks before my exam and i am aiming 245+.I hope that i will reach upto markAnyways, Thanks for your advice. Appreciated

How are the cardiac questions on the exam ? is cardiac path as hard as UW - for eg. there was a question about a pt with chronic AS and on ECG you see AF - and they ask you what caused the acute pulmonary edema in this pt ?
Not sure, if i got the point across but just wondering....

i was very upset during and between NBMEs i have not read much just did Doctors in training lectures and read subsequent material in first aid. bu i always always felt not satisfied enugh doing first aid. as i sad i have done it for the first time with UW. than could not revise it well took NBME 13. and i could havs scored higher.
you know what happened on 13 i changed at least 7 marked and correctly answered questions to the incorrect ones. so i strongly suggest as first aid sais unless you feel a really good second hunch dont change answers. especilly if you got the question stem right just cannot make choice between answers.
if on the first read you dont get wuestion and vignette well and on second read you feel oh now i got it then its different.

of course your score is great on NBME just if you aim for more thn 240 and have time dont rush. do UW. as thoroughly as you can. i think y must have over 245 to have guranteed over 240 on exam.
I don't mean that you take too much time before exam. do it untill your NBME scores fade from your mind

I didn't rush i just knew i had to do this now. and i agreed with my NBME 15/231 on that score. and i got it.
congrats on ur scoree !!!! i'm givin my exam in 19 days :S freakin out ... i gave nbme uswa1 on 24th and got 209 and gave nbme 13 online on 2nd and got 205 .. dont know what to do as i cant postpone the xam because my extnded elibilty period expires in aug end ... i'm takin uswa2 on 12th ..do u think i'll be able to push my score to 230-235 ?? thts wht i'm aiming for

Not sure, if i got the point across but just wondering....
Cardio was my weakest, and my exam was Cardio predominant. I had at least 10 ECG and Murmur Questions. i still got best performance in cardio though. UW wouldnt help me anyhow in this questions that i had. just be familiar with ECG, because i freaked out seeing them on exam because i knew there are no ECGs on STEP 1 . well i cant compare it with UW generaly UW is like a best book best study tool to deal with Questions. i can say that Qs are generaly easier then UW not as tricky. basic stuff basic stuff.
its funny i got good performance in my weakest area, and worst performance in my coolest area like genetics. because i hat terrible WTF questions in genetics. not because i was wrong thinking that genetics is my coolest area its all about how it comes and what do you encounter. like all the different NBMES non of them are easier or harder than each other it just depends on your areas of weakness.

I can for sure tell you only that your last NBME will be exactly around your score. NBME 15 will tell you your score.

I was acquainted with that before exam. that's why i dont feel disappointed with my score. because i knew that s what i was able to do not more. this is what i did for 3 months. and thanks god thanks god again for that.

Appreciated
you are doing right just reread the posts yr score is great for before last NBME before exam. you should do next with at least 10 points higher. and you get the average for them, exactly that or even higher depends on your luck. Good luck. 238 is a great score for 213.

i meant 238 is great score for NBME 13.
what you mean i missed some questions that i did right on the first time. did you do NBME 13 twice?

well anyhow. good luck. NBME 15 is last resort and your savior after exam before you get reports.

starting for CK. i cant believe this is happening to me.
as i read from others experiences this is not at all less worse exam then Step 1
