Dollar Sign Prometric testing fee

hello

Would like to know does step1 fee include prometric testing fee?
Because when I tried scheduling a test date prometric appointment completion page is showing amount = 0 usd. Does that mean I dont have to pay anything to prometric centre and testing fee was charged by ecfmg when we applied for step1?

Those who have already taken steps are in better position to answer but if I am right you dont have to pay anything to prometric until you reschedule your exam.

Default Yes.

If you are writing your test in U.S or Canada, there is no Prometric fee.

Yes, you don't have to pay anything to prometric. But, if you cancel or reschedule your exam date then you have to pay about ($70). If you are taking exam out side of US and Canada then they will charge you for the prometric scheduling. Hope this will help.
