Help Step 1 exam in 11 days - panicking and burned out

Hey everyone

The title says it all. I did NBME 7 16 days ago and got 228. Then I did NBME 13 a weeks ago and got a 242 and was encouraged. Today I did NBME 15 and got a 231 (even though I felt I was doing a lot better since I had prepared more on my weak points!)

I hate to sound so whiney but I'm totally burned out and feel that I've forgotten everything I've studied for months.

My exams in 11 days and I'm really scared.
Any advice from veteran test takers??

:'(

Default hi

Hey man, seems like we are gonna be hanging here for a while, anyways, reading your experience, it feels as if nbme 15 brings you down 10 points from 13, i dropped from a 228 on nbme 13 to a 219 in 9 days :/ .. just plain messed up.. my exam is in 11 days as well, do NOT know what to do, how are you going about your prep in these final days, and what did you focus on from nbme 7 to 13? have you thought about what nbme to take next?

Hey saad. I hope NBME 15 is not that predictive. Well from 7 to 13 what I did was improve the areas the NBME said I was weak on: immuno and anatomy. I went over the UWorld immuno and anatomy questions and read the explanations and did NBME 13.

I actually revised more for NBME 15 but I dunno what happened.

I'm just going over some UWorld material in the remaining time. I don't think I will do another NBME. Too expensive and not sure it'll be much good this close to the exam.

Embarrassed Solid plan

I certainly do hope so, i got off track for 3 days before nbme 15 because of family commitments, maybe that was the issue for me, plus man those questions in there were long, could have timed my self better, which ever the case, just don't get this burning out get to you now, take half a day off, sleep a couple hours more, that day would feel sluggish, but you would accomplish more in the upcoming ones, i guarantee that. I wish i would have saved uwsa 2 for later as it did boost up my confidence at the time when i took it, if you haven't done that, i would seriously advise you think about it, your plan sounds pretty neat otherwise, just keep at it, it's the final countdown, let's do this.
