Hey! i had the same thing before. My eligibility period will end in sep. first i booked a date, changed it for free a month before. then changed again 2 weeks before, paid $50.
but now, i am finally realising, its not worth changing dates everytime, so am gonna take the test .

dont worry, we all panic. .. I have read map twice before, but feel like i know nothing about it right now.

i would suggest you to take the test. what worse could happen,-
1. you fail!! then, you should e happy actually, as you have gained teh experience of taing the real test and you can take it again to get a very high score again. and believe me, people saying that once a failure never gets a high score is wrong.

2. If you just pass, first thank God that you at least accomplished one step in becoming a great doctor and then fasten your seat belts very tight for Step 2.
meanwhile spend some time doing some research and get US clinical experience.. its a lot, but at least its not a test.. just something to do and feel like a doctor..

3. ACTUALLY, you might think you dont know, but may be you know and you might get a VERY HIGH SCORE!! so, dont worry! relax!!

To be frank, while writing this reply, i feel i'm talking to myself...

so, cheer up1! i have 19 days to go for the big day!!

good luck!!

Everyone does go through this type of anxiety, but it is important to determine if you are simply anxious, or if there is a very real reason why you might be having these issues...

First of all, are you actually prepared to write the exam? Have you taken an NBME and what was your score? If you have and achieved a solid score, then you are likely just experiencing the typical nervousness we all experienced. But if you haven't taken an NBME or prepared properly and are anxious because you aren't sure where you stand, then it is time to consider holding off on the exam until you figure these things out.

Take an NBME, if you score well then relax a bit. If you don't score well, consider a re-schedule, it is better to hold off until you are 100% prepared than to risk a failing or mediocre score and hurt your future.
