Help Help Starting Step 1 Prep

Hey.
I'm starting my step 1 prep..
I wanted to know what all resources should I study from? What should I consider as my core study material? And approximately how many months would I require for my prep?

Are you currently in school? You should stick with two to three books, and get access to a question bank.

Pm for more info.
High regards

Kaplan has done a great job creating a series of books that cover everything. First aid points out all the high yield. If you can complete all of Kaplan qbank with review, then take nbme a nd see where you are as far as performance. you can then run through world, and you will be ready.

Many talk about timing. my colleague completkaplan step ck books in ten days.....that's extreme but thepoint is that everyone has different paces...

It all depends on how many hours a day you are willing to sacrifice.
12hours a day is very good.
If there is anything else I can answer please do not hesitate to ask.

High regards,

Dr. Stavros

Hello,

In the middle of an internship is very time consuming and definitely hectic. What I can suggest is that you can wake up two hours before you leave for your internship and either have a reading regimen or do two blocks of questions.
Then when you get home you can review the questions and if you have time dedicate another two hours reading material.

This journey will be difficult but will be priceless once you pass your boards.

What internship are you currently in?

High regards,

Dr. Stavros

Post step 1

For step 1 prep Does it matter if we have old books and videos.. Or do we need to have the latest edition of the books and videos..
I have of 2010 edition. And I'm wondering if I should buy again?

Post clerkships and internship confusion

hi i am still in my Internship phase (pursuing in India) and am interested in applying for clerkship but i want to know if i will have to extend my internship officially to compensate for the time period i utilized in my clerkship lest i should be questioned by U.S officials as to how i did the two things simultaneously ?
