Help Two weeks until my exam!

I'm like roughly at 215 right now (I'm assuming)...I'm going to re-take nbme 7 tomorrow and see.. But my exam is in 2 weeks.

I've gone through UW once and done another 400 questions a second time (random, not incorrects). But going through these questions I noticed some questions that I'm sure I knew before, I don't anymore and was thinking of forgoing UW and just focusing on FA and NBMEs and pathoma my last two weeks. I have extensive UW notes in my fa from my first pass..
My exam is Sept 6th. I can't postpone the exam without having to take a leave of absence and everyone discourages this very much because I'm a 2nd year Carib student.

I would REALLY, REALLY appreciate anyone's advice on this!
Thanks so much.

Default hey

hey skyblue. so your saying you did nbme 7 and got 215 but you knew few of the questions before you did it.
okay so then find an nbme (preferably the 13/15) and do them online and see what your score it.
i dont know your target score but you will do fine if your confident that you will dont think about postponing it now unless your aiming for a 245-250.
this is my opinion, but do whatever you think is right k.end of the day it is you who is giving the exam so you should decide what is best for you.good luck.

Hi there,

You said you went through UW once, but then went over 400 more questions a 2nd time, but you did not attempt to redo the questions you got incorrect the first time? Am I understanding you correctly? I would highly suggest that you go over the questions you got wrong the first time in order to determine whether you've mastered the information you got wrong.... .Did you take extensive notes on the material you got wrong? If not then I highly suggest you do this, because what happens if your real exam contains a lot of the info you were getting incorrect in UW but you didn't go back to make sure you knew it?

I would advise against foregoing UW because you are getting questions wrong, simply because UW is very spot-on when it comes to material tested and level of difficulty... it is one of the best sources for proper preparation.

And as another poster said, attempt a new NBME 13 or 15 instead of redoing one you recently did, as it will test you with never-before-seen questions.

Best of luck!
