Help 200 on nbme 11, exam in 3 weeks

hello all, i am planning to take step 1 on september 19th. i want to get 250 atleast, took nbme recently, havent done uworld; did only 200-300 questions. Apart from completing that what else should i do in these 3 weeks? my anatomy with CTs is not good enough, it scares me; any advice regarding that? i am revising first aid. will uworld completion help me achieve my target in these 3 weeks time?

hey haaris. i was in the 180-190 range in my nbme scores for quite a while and just gave the exam cause my improvement was happening very very slowly.eligibility issues and availability made me give the exam and got a 198.
so in my opinion an increase in score (a 50 point increase especially) is quite a lot to happen in 3 weeks.but it can be possible if you understand why your making your mistakes and rectify the issue and keep banging on with fa and mcq's - do it so much that unconsciously your making medical connections to things and you can do it k.
give it your all.like literary use up all your energy from now until then and what happens later is for later.

Well, honestly i dont think u can get 250+ if you doing 200 on NBME and u have only 3 weeks left. Unless u are a genius
You didnt do many questions, so you also dont have good expirince with Step 1 Q's.
I suggest you reschedule exam atlease 2 month further if you really want 250.
If not....JUST do Massive amounts of questions and FA, since you dont have time for anything else
BTW which NBME did you do?

Good Luck

Thanks for the guidance and wishes.
i did nbme 11. in blocks 1 and 2, i did better. around 8-10 mistakes per block. block 3 just destructed me. NINETEEN mistakes block 4--->13 mistakes.
and yes i also have dates issue. i am in final year of my medical studies right now and going to have my final professional exams (medicine, surgery, gynae, paeds) about 2 months after step 1 exam date (19th sep). so i cant extend eligibility further, if i did it would be like a year further or 6 months at least---so basically i cant.
a lil background about my prep. I started around april-may this year. No KLN, no videos... tried focusing on FA and annotating it. In previous years, i have studied the subjects-to-be-tested-from from good books (biochem->lippincott, pharma->katzung, micro/immuno->levinson, pathology->goljan and medium robbins, embryology->KLM). So i decided to annotate FA from these books, bcz i found KLN boring, and also i didnt have that much time considering i also had to study for my final year med school. What happened was i annotated micro/immuno, biochem, embryo extensively and then was left with wondering that i dont have a lot of time to annotate everything. Now all of patho isn't annotated, but thats not hurting a lot at the moment. What is scaring me is ANATOMY CT SCANS. I almost always get them wrong. Neuro is another concern, i am gonna do it from highyield.
Please pray a lot for me, i am super tensed.
I want to know 2-3 things.
1) will completing uworld increase my score to around 250? if not 250 then how much above 200 can it go? 220? 235? 240? what do you think?
2) is FA genetics enough? if not where else should i learn that from?
3) anything else for which i should consider looking out of FA? that is high-yield? like a special organ system? E.g respiratory pathology? or anything else in general? any anatomy section? (neuro---i will do as i said, but any other section because FA has very less anatomy and the anatomy that i did in our school was too much origin-insertion-of-muscles oriented and less high-yield). Those who annotated FA, please guide, which part of the annotation of their FA was the most beneficial so that i may add that to my prep schedule somehow any anatomy relations that are very important? i know ureter relations are pretty significant and they are tested quite frequently.
Thank you so much for taking your time out to read this and for your guidance.

Well, I don't think, there is any grantee to what score you will get after finishing UW. It all depends on your knowledge of concepts and recall of other memorization facts. How about you just do ur best at UW and gain the most out of it and may be take an NBME once you are ~ 60-70 % done with UW - you will find out what direction you are going into. If this is ur first time doing UW - don't rush it, although u dont have much time i assume but it's important u review thoroughly

Default ~50% uworld?

if i could only do ~50% uworld, will it hurt my ambitions of 250 big time??? I am figuring out i am running out of time and studying FA again and again is looking more productive to me than doing all of uworld... i have completed behavioral science, genetics, biochem, embryo and bisostats... (from u world) doing immuno now. and plan to do anatomy+histo from it. my nbme 11 performance is attached. I am sensing with the time left i wont be able to do physio/pathophysio, pharma and patho.
how damaging it can be?

plz guide... need advice soon. thanks
