Question When can we write notes on the marker board?

I took a DIT class and they stated that once you enter the test center you can quickly jot down notes on the erasable marker board that the test center gives to you. For example, you can just quickly jot down formulas that you might think you'll forget. Is that okay? Or are you only allowed to write on the erasable board once you start the exam on the computer?
Basically is it okay to write down notes on the marker board when you sit down in front of the computer at the test center when you haven't started the test yet? Thank you for your time!! Hope to hear from you soon!!

Yes you are correct. You can write down anything you want once you sit down in front of the computer. I wrote down a few pearls and a few other items that I didn't want to forget.
