Hi, my friend was in the same position. He read through Kaplan but focused on high yield material. Finished Kaplan 2nd read in 20 days. First aid is great but if you want to score above 90 fa might not be enough.

When are you writing the step?

it is very possible. if you spend 5am - 9pm , focus on categorizing your studying , and skim quickly what you know so you glance at it and it stays fresh in your recall memory, and focus on the more challenging topics,. you can do it.

go through kaplan, read all the high yield, clinical stuff.

read through fa.

then if you can get step 1 bible- search for that online.

all this together, you will excel

It all depends why you would consider going through Kaplan again...I do not know what your strengths are.

I have many friends that went through Kaplan twice, they all scored over 95. .

At the same time you might not need to go through it..I think you would benefit going through the important facts in Kaplan, parallel that with first aid, and you will do great....you can do that in one month :-)

I'm very happy to hear that.....in this journey we all have to stay focused, and keep our motivation going strong. I'm writing my exam in a few months. Will go through as much as possible..might take a review course if I have time.

I'm always happy to help you.

Keep me posted how you are doing

Default Kaplan 2nd read

I think going through Kaplan 2nd time to check tables figures graphs volatile concepts is a must do. A lot of guys do this. U may not get the time to read all word for word again. Infarct even the first reading some of us didn't read word for word. But a quick second read over the "hot cakes" I think is a MUST.

so all who reply agree that second quick review is good
i think the big deal is how to mange the TIME, and to accept the pain of going through it again

Stay focused... if you havnt taken nmbe , take one to see your weak points...then take that and hit all the sbjects you need more attention on..

that is a good approach.....

and once you go through all this .......you will pass high!!!
