DNA Frameshift versus Splice Site Mutation

1. Is Tay-Sachs disease a frameshift mutation or a mutation in splice sites?
2. Is beta thalassemia a nonsense mutation or a mutation in splice site?

please answer with explanations.

Tay Sach's mutation is a frame shift mutation by insertion of four bases leading to formation of stop codon so decreased syn of hexomindase
