Help desperately in need of your valuable suggestions

I am an international graduate (2011) and been in preparation on and off.
Recently i gave NBME 6 (530=228) ,15 (500=221) ,5 (510=224) 11 (520=224) . All i have given in last week.
But i haven't completed FA and UW yet. But due to so long time I am in pressure from my family and from myside also as i havent seen this type of phase ever. I got tensed so much and dont know how to complete the course and how to appear for step
Sometimes i want to quit but i know its not a wise decision as i am Green card holder.
I want to complete this step as soon as possible and my traget is anything above 230.
But I know it wont be done if i just wasting my time.
So please guys suggest me how to get rid of this tension and how to proceed so that i can be done with this step
Please look at my profile score and guide me as i dont know what how to go further
Please help me...

honestly with scores like that, you are right there..i think with a bit of a push and review, you could get in the 230's range. Just relax, you can do it ...you havent even finished Uworld and FA and you are pretty much at your target range of score.

Due you are set bro. you haven't even completed FA or UW. the big determinants on scores and you are already 220s. Another thing. no point taking all those NBMEs all in ONE WEEK. You knowledge in the material cannot fluctuate that much within just 7 days and 4 different NBMEs.

But yeah you can subscribe to UW. do questions for 30 days...and i bet your score will jump. you have nothing to worry about. Alot of folks on here are wishing to have scores like yours on the NBMEs, but i doubt they would admit it lol.

Your scores are pretty good and close to your goal of 230. Not to mention the consistently with which you are achieving these scores, which tells me that you will score within your desired range.

You have a couple options:

1. You could write the exam now and likely score right around your NBME marks

or

2. You could do some more work and likely reach an outstanding score

I would personally suggest that since you have not even cracked the FA or done any UW questions, that with a month or two of using these tools to really boost your knowledge base, you can likely score exceptionally well with a bit more effort. It is not common to see a student who hasn't even finished using those two tools score within the 230 range, so you should be very proud of your natural ability to perform on the NBME's.

You clearly possess the natural ability to achieve a very good score, knowing that alone should be enough to completely alleviate your high stress/tension levels.

Go to the USMLE.org website, figure out how to register, set a date for a month or so down the road, go hard with UW and FA as your guide, and then go sit confidently and ace that bad boy - I have all the confidence in the world that with this approach you are going to knock it out of the park!

Good luck, and please keep us posted on your progress.

Dr. Paul

Thank you guys. I know i may sound stupid but as i was away from study for long and didnt know from where to start as step 1 is huge.
so now i decided to follow
  • DIT with FA for 15-18 days
  • PATHOMA
and then UW for 20 days and will give NBME and will see where i am.
Please comment weather i am heading towards right thing or not.
