Drug Hyperkalemia caused by drugs!

1) Why glycosides cause hyperkalemia ..they block NA/K atpase thus K remains in cell and dont go to blood...

2) beta antagonist actually decrease heart rate so decrease NA/K ATPASE activity. so k accumulate in cell so hypokalemia but UW says hyperkalemia..

Check Na+/K+ ATPase again and what it does. After actionpotential it removes sodium from the inside of the cell.
