Drug Basic sciences: Lithium and leukocyte adhesion molecules

How does lithium activate leukocyte adhesion molecules? What properties allow it to do so, and could sodium or potassium act as substitutes? Would this have clinical implications in psychotropic medications? Thanks so much in advance!

Unhappy You don't need such depth

I don't think you need such depth of knowledge for the USMLE
Remember we are here to discuss the high yield info that may be seen in the USMLE exam.
