Hello there, I'm newbie and I have one question to ask. Please help me out . I'm an IMG and I've studied medical for 5 years without English. I've just started reading English medical books a couple weeks ago. And with Pathology, I choose the RRP, just don't know if it's enough for me since I've not read any other Pathology (English version) yet.
yes that will be enough if u can cover it up front to back wholeheartedly..n it has an added advantage that it will help u cover part of ur micro physio and biochem too...so keep doing it and thn follow it up with first aid and u have a deadly combination of two great buks required for gud scores!!!
Goljan RR has all the info you need to know, but keep in mind it is written in bullet-point format, so it just gives you a list of things about each disorder without much explanation. I think if you don't have any pathology background it may be difficult to grasp. I would suggest using it, but supplement it with a book like Robbins basic pathology, which does a great job of explaining concepts. Depending on how much time you have, you may not be able to read Robbins all the way through so just plan on using it as a supplement.
I'll taking step 1 in 2012, so I still have 2 years left to go. May be I'll try Robbin's patho. Thanks
