Help What should I do to improve in next 40 days?

I am really confused at one point in my preparation and really need your help and my question is :

my exam is almost 40 days away and I just did NBME 11 and got 220 .

I want to increase my score so what should i do further ?
I did uworld once have notes , read half and will do marked questions
but i have a thought about Kaplan qbank as well but i really don't know that will increase my score

Tell me what should i do other than FA in last 40 days ?
I am planning to do more exams like NBME 7, 13, 15 as well but to increase my score what should I do ?

If only 40 days are left, dont go for another qbank, u might like to do a quick revision of lecture notes..read fa as much as u can..just my personal opinion..

Hi there,

One of the things I have my students do when they've reached a sort of 'sticking point' is to find a partner who is also studying and go through each topic together and actually discuss is aloud.

For example if you are doing biochemistry, you would try to 'teach him/her' about glycolysis for example. You would go through absolutely everything you know about glycolysis, then when you finish your partner can mention anything you missed and/or you can discuss it together at that point. And just do this for every topic in your FA or in your notes (to be sure you cover it all).

Not only does this help you learn better, but it will address any weaknesses you have or any misunderstandings you didn't realize you were having. There is no better way to MASTER the information than to have to teach it properly to a partner!

Trust me, I know this isn't a easy way to boost your score, but this strategy is insanely effective when you implement it. I have had students who were in Med1 reach out to me for help, and using this strategy helped them boost their basic science grades and their USMLE scores.

I hope this helps and I hope you give it a try!

Best of luck.

Dr. Paul
