Default Something went wrong

Hey

Sorry to hear that. Do another NBME asap. This time relax and calm your nerves to make sure you get an accurate guage. It is hard to accurately predict your self from just one NBME, but if 2, or 3 NBMEs are within the same range, then i would say postpone your exam.

uwsa has a reputation for over predicting, but in your case an even bigger score difference. uwsa-2 has a habit of over predicting more. Another thing is, if you studied very well with Uworld, you are likely to do well on uswa, because you are accustomed to its style of asking questions and there might be alot of repeat concept.

When i took NBME 6 i felt it was a little outdated, though still predictive. Also NBMEs have a habit of giving you a false sense of positive performance during the blocks, but after completing it you get your result and its not a good as you wanted.

SO TAKE ANOTHER NBME ASAP to get an accurate guage. I would say do #7 or 12.

Good luck

Dr. KnifeHappy: Thank you for your response...i don't feel so lonely now!!

I heard that to that uwsa overestimate the scores but my main concerned was the big amount of difference between both NBme vs Uwsa. and got me more confused and freak out!

I decided to do a quick review of the subjects I did extremely weak in this NBme and this sunday I will do a second Nbme ( 7 or 12 that you recommend me) after it i take a decision.
At least, now I can dedicated a full time study because i took 2 vacations weeks before the exam. I will keep you post!

Best,
Jules

Do a thorough review of FA and take another newer NBME like 12/13 in a week and see where you stand, Since you dont have much time left - make sure you do a thorough review and that should be able to identify your weakness
Good Luck

Warning! this low score is killing me :(

hi guys!

i just did nbme13=400. I decided to postpone it and re-apply again. I spend the all week working with the weak topics and reviewing the ones I'm strong.

However i'm pretty disappointed because my goal at least is 550. I don't know what happen. :confused
I have done Kaplan LN+Videos,Uw 2x, Usmlerx, DIT in weak areas, and FA 3x...

I know that i made have a problem with the anxiety but i managed it today pretty well…

Makes me wonder: What I'm doing wrong???
I have been working pretty hard, besides that I work full time.

…Could guys give me some advices?

Thanks
Jules
