Listening Advise, could I be ready for this exam? Only 9 days left

Hi guys, I'm very worried this time. I really like to get rid of this exam...I have only 9 days left. I worked all september and until 23 october (studying part time because of the residency in my country, while during august I was at home and I studied full time=)..So maybe at august I was at the peak of my performance.. During august I took 3 nbmes 7, 13, 15 and in all of them I scored 240.
I reviewed FA in this 2 months and finished 70% of usmleRx with a cumulative score of 83%. I read that usmleRX overpredicts the score in the real exam..I also did a usmleRx simulation scoring 256..is it so bad? I took my last nmbe in august 28th, since a lot of time has passed. I am really afraid that my performance has fallen down and I think that if I took another nbme I'd see that my performance really has decreased. What should I do...I'm really studying hard in these day to try the best. What should I do at this point? Should I take another nbme or just keep studying and take step1? Please help me!

think about it this way: would you rather sit for the exam, and open your result and see FAIL, or would you rather take an NBME and deal with the score then logically decide if you should postpone for 1 more month....
I think you should just get over any fears and take the NBME ONLINE thats what they are there for, so on the real exam there will be no shocks....your usmle score should correlate fairly close to your latest nbme score.

all the best

relax, pray, study get good sleep.

Do you think that is possible that my score in 2 months has fallen down so much and I could fail in step1?? I kept studying and I did another qbank...I'll follow your advice...nbme12 or nbme 11? I just did the more predictive in august..I took 580, 590, 580 in my previous nbmes....which correspond to 240, 242, 240. Ok thanks

if your scores were in that range then you shouldnt be hesitant in taking one more nbme just to be safe. Have you done the UWSA? I would do NBME 12 since you have done 13 and 15

ok I'll do nbme12. I didn't schedule step1 at prometric because I'm not sure. Given that I would like to take my step1 in the first week of november is it better to take a simulation soon or wait some days?

your previous nbmes are pretty good, you wont fail for sure, i haven't taken this exam yet, its close for me too,... but I would just say one thing to you, even if u dont score good in nbme 12, its ok, coz nbme 12 is weird, and many ppl fnd it tough, I took it and I freaked out, so just advising u not to freak out
that's ok if you score few points low, but if you think its high time u should take the exam then take off from work, study and take it.. but do take nbme 12 or UWSA1 before that..

Good luck !!

I took nbme12 today, 590. I'm pretty happy, even if my score didn't improve since august, maybe a little or not ( 23 incorrect answers in nbme12). In August I got 580, 590, 580, respectively in nbme 7-13-15. The problem is that I work in a residency program, in my country, and I don't have enough free time to push up my score. I tried but It didn't happen. I have not a high english proficiency and I think that it can compromise my performance, because I get tired more easily and I make some mistakes due to distraction ....Anyway I could take my exam the first week of november. Is it a good idea? Can I pass with a decent score? Suggestions for my last week??
