Neither! The reason is that Goljan will waste your time though it is a good book. Kaplan pathology is not very different from FA. Both has more or less the same amount of knowledge(regarding pathology).
I think FA+uworld is enough for pathology but if you are very ambitious and aiming for 250+ then BRS pathology is a better option.
I'm being taught by the "Big G" aka "Poppie" in person right now in Dallas in the Becker course. It's kinda surreal seeing the man in person...only a nerdish med school student would say that about a USMLE teacher. LOL!
We got his new RR Pathology book as part of the course. We are taught from it, he has essentially made power points out of the high yield points from the book. If you have the time, its the gold standard. Otherwise, stick to Pathoma (just as good in my opinion, though not quite as comprehensive).
He did not give a pdf. We got a 350 page spiral bound book of the slides printed out in color.
He is VERY angry about those old audios. Before he started he gave a speech on how much it upset him that those students back then recorded him; he called them criminals. The security is very strict in the room: No laptops, cell phones, backpacks.
He did not give out any high yield questions like he did back then.
Thank you very much my friends ...Patho is the biggest challenge in step1
