Listening Think I should take the Step 1!

NBME: 12 (3wks Out): 207
NBME: 15 (2ks Out): 216
NBME: 07 (1wk Out): 216
UA SA #1: 224 (4wks out)
UA SA #2: 234 (2wks out)
Free USMLE Assessment: 79% (3wks Out)

Step is on Monday!


.....worried....

How much is your target score?
at this rate you should be at about 215 +- 10

thanks for replying tramps....i really wanted to shoot for 230s+ but ive run out of time...and just really dont want to push it back any further.....i however would not be disappointed with a 215+

You have 50:50 chance in getting 215+. What do you mean running out of time? What specialty do you wanna apply to? Will you need visa? What is your Year of Graduation? Check the the matching thread for that specialty this year and look at the trend of the interview invitations. You should think about it in the broader context. Think it thoroughly before proceeding..

your borderline dude. friend took NBME 15 3 months ago, got 215 and wound up with a 200 on the real deal with an exam that was pathophysio and neuro heavy. another month of practice wont affect your timeline. but a 200 will a effect your plans 4ever!! remember u pass, you can't go back in and do it again. if your burnt out, take a break for a week, go on a vakay, chill, relax. then start up again with FA for 3 weeks. don't settle for a 200 or 215 even if u worked for months like u wanted a 250. plain and simple. good luck!!
