Listening Should I Rush Up and Cram?

Firstly a huge hi to the brilliant doctors out here!

Thanks for reading my post and i honestly hope you would take a few seconds and respond

I am a 2012 graduate from India ( IMG) and due to various reasons i am to take up my Usmles... I am not doing it forced . its been my dream but due to personal reaons i was unable to take up the exam immediately...

My aim is to match in IM/Paeds

I have done the whole stuff for step 1 once a few months ago though i din take the exam....

If i need to start preparing now better for say 2 to 3months for step 1 and then ck etc i am afraid i wont be able to apply in sept 2014..

would you suggest me to rush up and cram and finish and apply or wait and apply the year next!

i am scared cause my year of graduation 2012 ... do give me honest replies and i would highly appreciate your suggestions as it is the need of the hour for me! will this affect my chances at matching at good places?

All the best to all the exam takers and waiting to hear from you!
