Unhappy Step 1- very low score

Hi all... I need realistic n true suggestions from u guys. I have scored extremely low in my recent step1 exam. I wish to know if there are any hopes of getting a pediatric residency? I am an IMG, USCE 2 months, 1 in peds heme onc, 1 US LOR, another promised but havent got yet, good LORs from home country, CK/CS remaining. Should I at all think about this and prepare for CK or just forget.....is this an end to my US residency dreams?
Please help!!

Thanks Bunny! I have been getting very confusing suggestions...I understand this score is gonna make it extremely difficult but somehave said that its better not to waste any more time on USMLE. Hence my query on how desirableit is to continue....

How much did you actually score ... You haven't said what's your score is ?? It all depends on you...
Are you willing to give up your dreams of pursuing medicine in us ??
If yes kill it now listening to those who said its waste of money ... I may not be the right 1 to say you talk to some1 who got matched and get suggestions .An then decide .. You have something worth with you usce + lor if you don't have these then you can quit worrying because of low score but when you have ways to cope up with ... Try to compensate with a better research field and good step ck score there's always a chance it's your endurance and persistence helps you what you desire for all the best dude
