Kaplan Medical Kaplan Videos for step 1 preparation to do or not!

While in midst of my preparation for step 1,, off lately I have developed an aversion for the kaplan videos, , I know it sounds bit off the track ,, but I think I would be more comfortable studying with FA 2013 as my guide and other author books &/or other recommended books for thorough reading & getting a grasp on the concepts,,and would supplement this with Uworld questions intermittently..!!!
Will this do ??? Would I miss on something in this way?? If so will the kaplan lectures notes help me to cover the stuffs missed in the videos. ??
Someone plz ....!! Thanks in advance.

My point of view: I feel videos are quite important and helps you to grasp the concepts and its easier to study the lecture notes after watching the corresponding videos rather than studying it straight away.. gross anatomy and microbiology are a total waste of time but others you should watch it atleast once...

Just watch the videos if you have the time.

I think Kaplan is the most important aspect of your Step 1 review (excluding Kaplan pathology). It gives you the basic understanding necessary for FA to be of any use. So unless you background knowledge is rock solid, don't skimp on Kaplan. :P
