Brazil Brining Books Back to Brazil

Hello guys I am a medical student in Brazil. I'm currently on my second year and I am about to start my preparation for step 1. I already have digital versions of several books, such as BRS pathology and physiology, first aid, etc. I'm leaving to New York on a trip tonight and I'm thinking it would be great to buy some books in English and bring them back to Brazil for my preparation. What books do you guys recommend me to get?

Thank you for you time.

You should get an actual paper copy of the most recent first aid so you can annotate into it etc.

I found high yield neuroanatomy and medical microbiology made ridiculously simple good for those topics for a quick read through just to familiarize myself with them. Other than that i just did first aid and question banks mostly.

I cant imagine youll get the books cheaper in NYC than you would from amazon

You have two options regarding the set of books to buy:

Option 1:

First Aid 2014
Kaplan Lecture Notes

Option 2:

First Aid 2014
BRS Physiology
High Yield Gross Anatomy
High Yield Neuro-Anatomy
High Yield Embriology
Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews: Pharmacology
Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple
Rapid Review Pathology
Basic Immunology
BRS Biochemistry

Those are my suggestions, have a nice trip!

Thank you for the replies friends, I appreciate the suggestions. Now, about amazon.com, I don't like to wait too long for the product, although I know I'll end up getting some books from it.

well, if you want to have the product in a day or two, amazon gives you that option also, few bucks of extra shipping charge may be. what i did was, i took their 1 month free trial of amazon prime membership, that way you could get the prime eligible products (most books i bought had prime eligible options) delivered within two days with no extra cost. you could give that a try too.
hope that helps..
