Default Step 1 Eligibility Period Extended for No Apparent Reason

Hi all,

My assigned eligibility period was Aug-Oct 2013. I applied for an extension which took me to Jan 31, 2014 and made my appt at Prometric for late Jan but finally decided not to take the exam for personal reasons. About a week before my eligibility period was to end, I received an email from ecfmg out of the blue informing me that "Your Eligibility Period has been moved". The new eligibility period now ends on April 30, 2014. Has this happened to anyone else out there? I'm very confused.....

Under Eligibility Period in Oasis, it says "Nov 1, 2013 - April 30, 2014". Nov 1, 2013 - Jan 31st, 2014 was my eligibility period AFTER the extension went into effect, but the 3 months after that is a complete mystery to me. I got a revised scheduling permit and everything...... @_@

Wow. Congratulations then.
U have 3 months given freely to u. U must be a lucky man. Once oasis also says so then u don't have any problem. I don't know if the winter made them do that.
Congrats u still have ur money.
