Question how to schedule for prometric test and is it useful?

so how to register
if it is from here what i do next

i just want to see the seat availability

cause for the real usmle step 1 the exams is only Tuesdays so 4 a months

so i want to know if it is the case for the prometric test or not

also is it useful or not i mean getting to know the place

Its simple..

To check the availability of seat, go to Prometric website, click start, select ur test in this case, usmle step 1, select ur country, select ur testing center, select seat availability.

I think the other question is self explanatory, u should know the place or at least have a rough idea, so that u can reach on time on the test day.

i am not asking about usmle step 1 test

i am asking about prometric test which uses FRED 2 as bank question to familiarize you with the center and the exam

Keep that in mind that as mentioned on this page, this test is not administered using the new version of the NBME Test Delivery Software (FREDv2).
