Idea! Watching only pathoma videos without reading pathoma book

Is it enough to just prepare pathology for step 1 exam by watching pathoma videos 2-3 times without actually reading the pathoma book itself? And following it up by doing uworld patho questions and first aid? My aim is anything above 240

Pathoma videos pretty much cover everything you need to do exceptionally well on Step 1. You don't need to use the book as the videos are more detailed than the book. With that being said, the book is extremely useful because of its short and concise nature. I would highly suggest that a week or so before your exam you read the book. At that point you should be done with your Qbanks and you should definitely not be learning any new information. So just read 50 pages a day and you'll be done in 4 days. That's how easy it is.

Pathoma is super helpful.
Before I read pathoma, my pathology is at borderline (according to NBME)
After I watch and read Pathoma, my score are always at the high end with stars.

If you don't have time and can only watch the video, then go for it. It would still be much better than nothing.

The book is definitely a big help. Pathoma is really designed to be used in conjunction with the text.
