Help How do u manage histology ?

Hi guys
I wanna know how do u manage histology ?
as I see kaplan is about 150 page !! and guy on kaplan video I can't understand anything from him (unfortunately he also explains neuroanatomy)..
also,I'm worrying about How to recognize the slides bcz I was bad at this in med college?? and this important to make u recognize patho slides
any advises??

Well the reason is that, for step 1 pretty much all pathologic slides are VERY characteristic of a diease, for example a red congo stain for amyeloid is completly unique even if you dont know how the normal tissue should look, for another explample the onion skin pattern is pretty easy to recognize. Chnaces are very low that you will get a slide in the exam that isnt VERY unique or related to the answer so chill out.

but also ppl who took the exam the said there was a histo slide
